ABOUT

Katherine Schaber is an actress living in Manhattan. She is a graduate of Boston University School of Theatre and holds a BFA in Acting with a concentration in Musical Theatre. She received both the Bette Davis Scholarship in Acting and Sidney Friedman Award before graduating.

Katherine has always harbored a deep, intimate love for performing. Her dedication to acting was nurtured during her training at The Goodman Theatre in high school, where her passion for both stage and screen work was uncovered.

In college, Katherine took every opportunity New England offered her, from new play development at Boston Playwright’s Theatre and participating in various film projects, to signing with a commercial modeling agency.

Since moving to New York City, Katherine has worked as both an actress and producer. Most recently, she spent five weeks at the Theatre Workshop of Nantucket performing in Kate Hamill's Sense and Sensibility. Last year she had her Off-Broadway debut at AMT Theatre, shortly after having co-produced and acted in a fully staged production of Grace Tomblin Marca's Cornflake Pie at The Wild Project. This past spring, Katherine also co-produced a sold-out show of Now That’s What I Call Broadway at 54 Below with her close collaborator, Zach Kelley.

Katherine has several short films in pre- and post-production, most recently I Want To Disappear by Parker Foster. She is currently preparing for her role in Alexander Hagani’s new short film, The Actor, which is scheduled to shoot later this month.

When she’s not acting, Katherine works as a commercial model. Recent projects include Remington, Black & Decker, Lavender Palette, and GUESS Watches.

Katherine is a proud member of Actor’s Equity Association and finds joy and immense gratitude in every opportunity she has to perform.
