ABOUT

Katherine (Schaber) Hanson is an actress living in Manhattan. She is a graduate of Boston University's School of Theatre and holds a BFA in Acting with a concentration in Musical Theatre. Prior to graduation she was awarded both the Bette Davis Scholarship in Acting and Sidney Friedman Award

Katherine has always harbored a deep love for performance. Her dedication to acting was further cultivated during her training at The Goodman Theatre, where she discovered a passion for both stage and screen work.

While attending Boston University, Katherine embraced every opportunity New England had to offer—from developing new works at Boston Playwrights’ Theatre and appearing in independent film projects to signing with a commercial modeling agency.

Since moving to New York City, Katherine has built a multifaceted career as an actress, model, and producer. Today, she can be seen in her beauty campaign with Danessa Myricks, featured in CVS and Sephora stores nationwide. On screen, her short film The Actor is currently making its festival rounds, with a public release on the horizon. She also stars in She’s Got It, a short film about an aspiring Dolly Parton impersonator, and will appear in a new proof-of-concept project shooting Fall 2026.

In addition to her work on screen, Katherine has co-produced two sold-out productions of Now That’s What I Call Broadway at 54 Below alongside her longtime collaborator Zach Kelley.

Whether honing her craft, producing new work, or stepping in front of the camera, Katherine remains driven by a passion for storytelling and a commitment to artistic growth. When she isn’t immersed in the entertainment industry, Katherine enjoys Pilates, ballet, embroidery, and tackling DIY projects.

Katherine is proudly represented by Luber Roklin Entertainment and is a member of Actors' Equity Association. She approaches every opportunity to perform with gratitude, enthusiasm, and a deep love for the craft.
